Highline College Global Programs – 2026 Experiential Learning Opportunities

Highline College Global Programs invites students and faculty to engage in life-changing international experiences designed to build global awareness, cultural competency, and professional growth. Our 2026 lineup features immersive programs across Vietnam, Indonesia, and Japan, offering both student study abroad and faculty development opportunities that bring learning beyond the classroom.

Faculty Experiential Learning: Japan 2026

Are you ready to enhance your teaching through global experience? Join our inaugural Faculty Experiential Learning to Japan 2026—a unique professional development opportunity for Highline College faculty.

Through workshops in fall and winter quarters, participants will prepare for an immersive trip to Japan during Spring Break (March 20–28, 2026). The program will explore Japan’s educational system, innovation in workforce training, and the balance between tradition and modernity.

Follow the Supply Chain: Vietnam 2026

Back by popular demand, Follow the Supply Chain: Vietnam 2026 explores one of Asia’s most dynamic economies. Students and faculty will trace the journey of global goods—from production to export—while studying how Vietnam has become a hub for international trade and sustainability.

  Faculty Experiential Learning: Indonesia 2026

The Faculty Experiential Learning to Indonesia 2026 program helps faculty bring international perspectives into their classrooms through firsthand cultural immersion and collaboration.

Participants will engage with Highline’s educational partner, Sahid Politeknik, in Jakarta and Bandung, exploring how sustainability, tourism, and education intersect across Indonesia.

 Student Experiential Learning: Indonesia 2026

This student study abroad opportunity offers an unforgettable cultural and educational experience in Indonesia.

Students will collaborate with peers from Sahid Politeknik, explore iconic destinations across Java, and engage in workshops on global citizenship, leadership, and cross-cultural connection.

WASHINGTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE CONSORTIUM FOR STUDY ABROAD  (WCCCSA) 2026:
