Supply chains have never been more relevant than in today’s interconnected world. From pandemic disruptions to shifting geopolitical landscapes, students now have the chance to understand how supply chains shape our daily lives—and how Vietnam plays a critical role as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.

Highline College invites you to participate in the Follow the Supply Chain Study Abroad Program 2026, a transformative study abroad program that combines virtual workshops, local industry tours, and an immersive international travel experience.

📍 Program Highlights:

Through this unique program, students will gain firsthand exposure to international business operations, supply chain logistics, and cross-cultural collaboration.
The program runs from Winter through Fall 2026, culminating in an in-person study abroad trip to Vietnam in September 2026.

🧭 What to Expect:

• Winter & Spring 2026:
  Join virtual workshops led by Highline College and Vietnamese faculty, industry professionals, and students to explore global supply chains and trade systems.Summer 2026:
  Participate in in-person tours of logistics and manufacturing companies across Washington State, connecting local industries to global markets.Fall 2026 (September 3–11):
  Embark on a 9-day immersive trip to Vietnam. You will:
  • Collaborate with Vietnamese student peers and business leaders
  • Visit factories, ports, and global companies
  • Experience Vietnam’s economy, culture, and innovation firsthand
  • Build academic and professional skills to enhance your career path

What’s Included:

For just $1,200 (or $600 for those with financial aid), this program covers:

• Round-trip international airfare
• Housing accommodations
• Ground transportation
• Most meals
• Company visits, cultural excursions, and organized group activities

🎓 Who Should Apply:

This program is open to all Highline College students, regardless of major or prior travel experience. It’s ideal for those interested in:

• International business and global trade
• Supply chain management and logistics
• Economics and global development
• Cross-cultural collaboration

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, students must:

• Be enrolled in at least 10 credits at a participating college at the time of application
• Maintain enrollment in a minimum of 5 credits each quarter during Winter, Spring, and Fall 2026
• Hold a 2.0 cumulative GPA by the end of Spring Quarter 2026
• Be in reasonable physical condition for walking, standing, and navigating environments with limited ADA accessibility
• Have a valid U.S. passport expiring after March 20, 2027, or be able to apply for one within 30 days of acceptance
• Meet all U.S., Vietnam, and international travel regulations, including visa eligibility

(Please note: individuals with certain criminal records may be denied a Vietnam entry visa)

Post-Trip Commitment

Participants will be asked to share their study abroad experience through presentations or events at their home college during Fall 2026.
